The other day I called my phone service provider to update my contract in order to be prepared for spending the majority of my time outside of the country. The plan was to add a travel package that would give me flat fee access to data without any roaming fees.
Turns out I was three weeks too late and my contract had already been renewed with the old conditions. Major fail moment on my part – it’s not as if I couldn’t have done the maths if I had bothered to think about it for more than 10 seconds without doing something else at the same time.
Ah well, no point in complaining now.
Plus, I got the hotline person to also renew my previous discounts that were supposed to only run for 24 months. So I suppose the phone call wasn’t a complete fail.
Still, I am now stuck with the same contract and the same monthly costs for another two years. Oh joy.
PS: I also missed canceling my train ticket subscription. Maybe I should start paying more attention to my own blog posts.
